wrestling geek

OMG I have now turned into a wrestling geek..I never would of thought I would like to see my kid getting pinned down or twisted into a pretzel ..ok I still don't but I love to see them win of course and to see how much they both have improved since 7th grade..I have one in 9th grade in high school who has make the varsity team in the first week of the season..I knew having 8 boys would come in handy for one of them...lol Dillon is a natural when it comes to wrestling after his 3rd tournament he earned his varsity letter so its time to go buy a jacket...yikes I got sticker shock..but then again he will have it for the next 4 years so we should get out money out of it ;)
Now Nick he doesn't start the school season for another 2 weeks so I should more then get my fill of wrestling soon..lol oh and lets add a little Volleyball to the mix since Samantha informed me she is trying out next week..this is going to be one busy winter...but that's ok , the only problem is I do worry about Samantha with her Diabetes..she tends to drop low so fast I know we will have to really be careful the first few weeks till be see what all the extra work outs does to her..never a dull moment.

Hi Debbie!

It's great to hear from you. I've been wondering how you (and Samantha)have been doing. Sorry to hear she's having a rough time with the lows lately (read your other blog). For me it was easiest to just use the glucose tabs. They were easy to eat. I knew how many carbs I was getting and didn't have to worry about protein interfering with the carbs. Although I could see wanting some protein to help keep the numbers stable.

I hope volleyball doesn't mess things up even more. That things calm down for you soon and you manage to get some sleep.

Looking forward to hearing more about how things are in your corner of the world in the future.
