Praying he changes his mind

My son David is due to get out of the marines Jan of next year, well they have asked him if he will extend because they want him to go to Afghanistan :O( he works on the Osprey and there are not many guys qualified for his job as of yet. The deployment this time if he goes will be 7 months to a year NOT on a base like last time but out in the middle of no where, dropped off with 2 planes and a crew (he doesn't know how many) no phones, water, housing nothing.. he hated it last time when he was in Iraq and that time he was on the biggest base that had stores, a movie theater, a bowling ally restaurants everything in fact it was nick named camp cupcake...lol
He says he doesn't want to go but he feels that he is needed and with our present economy he is afraid to get out now even if he is going to be going to school. He still can change his mind I know this, he doesn't have to tell them for another 6 months but the whole ideal just makes me sick with worry, David has always had a hard time saying no to anyone I know they will bully or guilt him into going :O(
Then on top of that Anthony did a pre enlistment in Dec but so far hasn't said a word about going in but did say one time I can change my mind at anytime "I didn't sign anything" he is the type you cant talk to him he has to realize on his own what he wants..I think lately with his girlfriend he wants to stay here in Mich :O) only time will tell

On the home front Samantha has another ear infection...sigh.. this one is really bad I took her to the ER Sat, they were shocked how her ear was and that she was letting them look without crying :O( poor baby they tell me with her having diabetes this is just going to be the norm..this one came out of nowhere, Yesterday I had to take her back to the Dr since it didn't seem to be clearing up in fact getting worse..the Dr had to put her on double meds praying this works.

Me I had my gyn appointment yesterday and got the all clear on my health..I didn't tell him about my little fall and wasn't going to till he told me he knew since all my test were sent to him also, and that he seen my name on the ER list...now I didn't think they would give my ob this info but I guess better safe then sorry so now he knows and he also thinks I'm in good health in fact he asked me if I was coming back to see him in a few months...lol

He learned to paint :O)

Jorden went into the boys room and found a jar of black poster paint and he had a BALL!! His brother Nicholas was only a few feet away and didnt even notice him making a mess...lol

I had to take a picture of him with a broom only because it was the only way I could get him to stan still for more then a second..I swear this child has been into everything this pass week..like climbing on the couch, onto the end tables, ect....

Clean Bill of Health :O)

I went to the Cardiologist last week and had ANOTHER echo gram and everything came out fine, he cant find anything wrong with me other then MAYBE I was over stressed when I was in the hospital..DUH I told them that the whole time. They think that my pass out in the first place was due to not eating right, not sleeping much and stress ..now that I would have to agree with and after many test they figured that my heart rate when up so much on Tuesday at the hospital because they wouldnt let me go home...geee I wonder how they figured that one out...lol
So the Dr said no meds and just try to slow down a bit or I will be back in the hospital again..ok I get it time to take time for myself right....lol
Then today I went to my normal Dr even though I had the all clear from the Cardiologist, I didnt want my main Dr to feel out of the loop after all, he takes care of all my kids I didnt want him to think he wasnt good enough for me too..so I made my appointment and seen him today.I told him what the Cardiologist said and my test results and that I took myself off the meds ( he didnt like that, but said since my test came out well and my heart rate is back to normal he was ok with it...didnt have the heart to tell him it didnt matter if he agreed or not ;O) Soooooooooo the long and the short of it is
1) I passed out
2) no real medical reason why
3) all my test came back great
4) I dont have diabetes, thyroid problems, or high blood pressure (I was tested for all of those)
5) I dont have to have another tetnes shot for another 10 years...YAY
6) I'm in rather good heath :O)
7) I got a 5 day vacation sitting in a bed with one bad roommate for 4 days and a good one for a day and my insurance footed the bill...I would have rathered gone to Hawaii for the sum of 17,089. dollars and the bills are still rolling in...

I'm a great aunt :O)

My niece Anna had her baby Feb 11...a beautiful baby girl 7 lbs 5 oz 21 inches long..the little stinker was 10 days over due. Anna went in on Monday to be induced but nothing even started to happen till Wed morning, after hours of labor and and 3 more hours of pushing and making it to 9cm the babies heart rate dropped and they had to do a c-section, which was a good thing since the baby was coming out sideways and had the cord wrapped around her neck. The poor thing was in such pain Wed, Thur, and Fri..today she is doing so much better. Thursday I spent most of the night with her since her hubby had his daddy's party, so Anna's sister in-law and I babysat her at the hospital. I felt so bad for her watching her tense in pain over every movement, cough or laugh. Helping her to the bathroom was a chore in its self since she her legs and feet swelled up sooooooooooooooooo much and her stitches in her belly plus she had such bruising from almost having a vaginal birth..but the whole time she didn't complain a bit she in fact laughed it off and kept saying if it would happen to anyone it would be her..

Today the Dr came in and told her he wants her to come into the office Monday to be tested for Fibromyalgia since she was so sick through her whole pregnancy...well most of her life she has been sick, in a way its a good thing at least we can have an answer to all this and maybe they can help her to start feeling better

Today when I stopped by to see her she looks like her old self, that was nice to see :O)

Not sure what to do

Ok so the Dr put me on a beta blocker, I don't do meds very well I pride myself in being healthy and not taking anything,,I wont even take an aspirin if I really really don't have to. So these pills he seems to think I should stay on always I have been doing some reading up on raised heart rates, these are just some of the things that can raise your rate...all of which I do
1) caused by stress.we all know I have LOTS of that these days
2) lack of sleep..now that's something else I hardly do, haven't since I was first pregnant with Jorden
3) oh man I'm addicted to my caffeine!!!!
4) I don't drink water
5) don't eat right..that one is a BIG problem
6)anxiety..I had that the whole time in the hospital
7)loss of blood..heck the vampires came in sometimes 3 times a day for blood

so I look at some of these causes and figure I can make some changes, but while making the changes do I take the meds or do I pass??? This is a hard one I'm suppose to see the Dr in 2 weeks for another check up, this is just my reg Dr not the heart guy. So do I see him instead my normal Dr, head is spinning, I don't want this to happen again but in reality I was a ticking time boom..guess I finally blew..lol

So far NO caffeine since Tuesday evening...
getting sleep now that I am home :O)
eating 3 meals a day
and I 'm TRYING to lessen the stress but sometimes it just come looking for me.lol I stressed out today going to the dentist just knowing I had to show him my lovely smile.yes I'm vane..then I stressed when he said I will have to wait a week for my gums to heal before we can start work ( I dont like the ideal of staying this way even for a day longer.lol)...then the thought of him drilling and doing root canals made me stress AGAIN, I know I'm a basket case!!!
So today I did take the meds and my heart rate went down from 109 to 80 but I feel like my head is in a cloud hard to concentrate..now that's not good when you have a lot of kids is it!!!
Ok I 'm going to relive some stress and go cuddle my baby :O)

I'm home!!!!!

OMG I'm so happy to be home!! I noticed that I am NOT a good patient!!!! Saturday morning Up woke up at 6:00am walked through the living room into the kitchen and passed out I have no ideal how it happened, one min I was standing the next I was on my face on the floor, a full face nose dive. I ended up with a HUGE nose, blood everywhere, 2 really really huge lips that looked like raw hamburger since my front tooth with into it, oh and I lose that said tooth and another one in the fall plus another huge bruise on my chin..all I can say is OUCH. Now if you know me you know I had no plans on going to the hospital I mean none at all. I just went up to my room cleaned myself up and went back to bed, the kids knew I did this but I told them I had a headache and to let me rest for awhile. Now my hubby he was home at the time but just getting ready to leave to go ice fishing with his brother, when Dillon told him just hey mom fell so when he came up to our room it was dark and I just told him I had a bloody nose and to go ahead and go fishing. Took a nice long nap but at 3:00 in the afternoon Crystal came home came upstairs to tell me about her day till she took one look at my face and freaked out. She tried to talk me into going but it wasn't working till she hit my soft soft spot..she asked if it were her would I make her go to the hospital...sigh when did she get so tricky. So off to the hospital we went..9 hours later I'm admitted against my will..I was told only for test and to watch over me for the night since I hit my head..yea right, I think once they have you they keep you! Sunday I had an ultrasound on my neck, Monday the Dr came in and said I needed to have another test I knew I was going to have two test but the one isn't done on the weekends...geeez had to see a heart Dr also in my nice check up..my Dr said Monday that I was going to go home...again they lied to me..lol seems that Monday night I set off my heart monitor when I walked to the bathroom so Tuesday morning when the Dr came in of course he told me another day...grrrrr. I guess this must of upset me more then I thought it did because that monitor went off so many times, but I had so much news from home that upset me, I found out the Samantha was set to school with her insulin pump having NO insulin left, I didn't pay the bills I wanted to the weekend I got hurt, I was just down and depressed I wanted to go home...so just walking a few steps that darn thing would go off it was crazy....so I calmed myself down stayed in bed like a good girl got my rest and had a nice surprise visit by my pastor, mother in-law, brother and sister in-law, Heather, Justin and Crystal it was a nice night..and best of all no monitors going off...yay!!!!! So today when the Dr came in he sprang me he said I could go home...I was so excited I hugged the man..lol
I never knew how much I missed these crazy people in my family how sad I get without them...so I would rate today a really great day..
Oh yea all my test and x-rays showed nothing everything is fine and I got a clean bill of health but on the bad side he wants me on a low dose beta blocker for a few weeks...I hate taking meds!

Sleep deprived

For the pass week Samantha has been running very high BG numbers, then she stated showing trace ketones so the Dr didnt want to change her insulin amount junt in case she was getting an illness... well after a week with ketones and no other sings of sickness at last the ketones stopped YAY!!! I thought cool her numbers should start going down too...nope. So yesterday off to the Drs had a complete check up uren and blood taken to see if there was any signs of infection, nothing everything checked out great..so I had to call up the Endo ( her diabetes Dr) and let them know there is no infection so it was time to rise the insulin...well LOTS of changes which means more testing just to make sure she doesnt have a hypo ( low blood sugar) So last night we had the 1 am, 3 am, and 5am check but lucky me had a baby who thought 4am was the perfect time to wake up crying :O( he is cutting some teeth and has been a bit crabby)
I feel like crawling back into bed but I have 2 little ones home and my niece is stopping by after her O.B visit she is due this Friday

Snow

Ok January is almost at an end but the snow isn't!!!! So far this year we have had more snow then we did ALL of last year. You cant even see over the snow mountains at the end of our drive way. The kids are loving it...just not me. Their new favorite thing to do is go outside on the trampoline when its full of snow. Kids are crazy if you ask me...lol
This pass week has been the first weeks in months I haven't had much of anything to do other then to take Jorden to the Dr for his one year old check up and shots...my little guy is now a whopping 25 pounds and is 2' 2" I just cant believe how fast that year went. I guess its time to update a few pics isn't it :O)
So this post I'm going to be lazy and post mainly pictures instead of blogging
Looking he is walking just 1 month shy of his first birthday

Look who's turning ONE

yum cake...LOL

hey he only made a little mess...LOL

CGMS

I'm not sure how I feel right now I have been fighting with my insurance company now since July to get the CGMS ( Continuous Glucose Monitoring System) for Samantha..She is my one with Type 1 diabetes, well this CGMS goes along with her pump she will have two different sites one that deliverers her insulin and the other which is for the CGMS that will read her blood sugar every 20 seconds...it sounds like a great thing doesnt it we should know her highs and lows before she does, be able to head off lows which scare the heck out of me..so anyways after fighting with the insurance company I gave up for awhile till lately when I noticed that Samantha has been getting more and more out of range with her numbers and now is having lows without feeling them..last week she hit a 47 and didnt know it, now thats scary!!!! This is what made me start thinking I need to pick up where I left off at. I was ready for a fight, I have charts, lots of info and studies on how well these things work... so today I call Minimed the company I have to order it from and the same company we got her pump from, I tell the rep what I want she tells me she will see IF my insurance will pay for it or not ( just for the set it its 1000 and thats not the sensors every month thats another 350) I thought I would hear from her in a week or so but I got a call back a few hours later and she told me that there should be no problem as long as my Dr writes out a script..thats not a problem the Dr likes the CGMS so now it looks like Samantha will be getting this new device..but now I wonder do I really want to have to have this poor child with another thing poking into he? Learning how to work this thing, having to check and recheck numbers all the time till you get the hang of it...I hear its really a pain in the behind to get the hang of it all BUT on the other hand it will supply us with sooooo much info and should head off lows and highs..I think its just me worrying about the unknown I was like this when she got the pump and now I LOVE that thing I cant image going back to daily shots again..
Well thats my new worry..lol

before and after

well its been VERY VERY slow in getting done but I now have a living room finished and almost a whole kitchen done...YIPPIE!!! Chuck is doing all the work and with working full time and for the first time in years he is getting over time the house gets put on the back burner, ( I 'm getting use to that) and the fact our house is the money pit...anything we fix takes a few other things to fix also before you can get to the first thing your were working on..lol... like our living room floor we had carpeting we switched to a pergo floor wellllllllllllllll in order to do that he had to fix the old sub floor since the builders who did our addition didnt level it right when they took out a wall they stuffed the hole with cardboard...gzeeee, that took the whole day to fix the floor before Chuck could do the pergo..TG he had a lots of help. So the living room received one new wall, part of a ceiling, a paint job and a new pergo floor :O) I love the living room now.

this is Christmas of 07 a bit crowded...lol this is my lost wall and carpet

this is that crowded area changed a

few things around this is my new floor :O) isn't it pretty!!

My kitchen is ALMOST done he has the new walls and ceiling up ( that was a job in itself) its painted a new sub floor...major pain in the *ss.. had a beautiful corian counter top put in but the faucet was another pain in the behind for Chuck took all night to get it right, and I have a pergo floor in there too :O) doing the happy dance!!!!

The only thing left to do in there is to do the floor moldings, a new window ledge and to bring down the tile on the wall to the counter top ( didn't do a back splash wanted the tile instead....yea I know more work for Chuck...lol)

So after he finishes the kitchen which is on hold for a week now since Adam and Chuck will be gone for a week to go deer hunting...he will come home to finish the kitchen, then start upstairs and start the hallway...need new walls, total paint job and a floor, ...then the bathroom again walls, paint and a floor same thing in my bedroom....hummm I think I can keep Chuck busy till spring time then he can start on the yard...lol just dont tell him I said that

Bear Hunting

Well Chuck left last Saturday for bear hunting. His brother went with him a 13 hour drive to get to the upper part of Michigan yea a 13 hour drive that when Chuck called the NEXT day said it took them 18 hours...lol just a little lost he said. I really hope they had nicer weather then we did Saturday and all day Sunday it rained here we had flood warnings out starting Saturday night, the kids loved the puddles which soon turned into ponds..they had a ball running through the streets with the water up to their knees at some parts all the ditches were filled ( TG I dont have a ditch in front of my house) the kids were using them like water slides..at least 4 of my kids found out how much fun it was to slide down a ditch full of water and mud and just how much fun it was till they came home and mom seen that they had on their school shoes, and they were full of mud walking on my nice new living room floor....all and all I didnt yell that much, I did grumble a lot as I was washing the clothes I had to wash them twice just to get the ground in mud out and to see what color the clothes really were.

My poor baby has an ear infection :O( I thought it was him getting teeth in since he wasnt running a fever or pulling on his ears, he was just a bit cranky and just starting to get a runny nose, I wasn't even going to bring him into the Dr but I had to take Samantha since she had an ear ache, so after a nice long long wait at the Drs office I found out that they both have double ear infections, and Samantha also has a sines infection..I just love winter coming....not really

Only 3 more weeks till David should be home from Iraq...Crystal and I are TRYING to see if the two of us can go down and greet him when he comes in. We haven't told him because its a long shot if we can, and if we do we want it to be a surprise. I would love to go!!!! I haven't even told Chuck about this one yet...got to find some way to break the news to him and see if I can find someone to watch the baby and Christopher durning the day...Chuck does have vacation time left :O) We still don't know the date he will be in on, only the week so it makes it hard to get a hotel room or make plans so if we don't find out soon we will have to give up going down to see him..I don't know I'll keep you posted if we get to go and don't tell anyone of our plans just in case if could get back to David.

I have WALLS!!!!

Yep I do I have walls in my living room and a ceiling too :O)

The living room is almost finished we just have a few things to finish like some of the moldings, Chuck forgot that ER came in and took some of the moldings that had water damage. The room has been painted and a new pergo floor put in...my sweetie has to crawl under in the dirt to find two yep not one but TWO heater vents that the guys covered up with the pergo floor...lol so now Chuck has to some how find them, then we have curtains to put back up and my pics to finish it all off...Chuck then leaves for bear hunting for a few days and when he comes back we get to start on the kitchen..oh what joy..I want it done but I hate the thought of doing it, the living room was a smaller job and that was a pain in the behind I cant image the kitchen!!! Cant I just stay in the nice clean living room..lol

Jorden is all over the place these days he is crawling and pulling himself up on things. He can say da-da like there is no tomorrow I m still working on the ma-ma...Chuck and I had a bet on which one he would say first and guess who won...I swear I think he stood in front of that baby and babbled da-da all day long just to win...lol

I haven't taken too many new pics of him not with the house being ripped apart, didn't want to see the mess in the background but I did take this one I thought it was cool since we had a butterfly in the house
David will be coming home from Iraq soon...I cant wait!!!!!! It feels like its been forever even if its only been 8 months. Sometimes he gets a few pics up on his my space page for me ( not nearly enough) or he will e-mail me a pic here and there.. This is one he put on his my space page I cant believe how beefy he is getting. He left he was so tall and thin now he is really filling out I think he use to weigh 155 when he left now he told me he is 180.....wow!!!! He should be here in Michigan for Thanksgiving, that seems like its such a far ways off before he will be home but at least he will be in the states in Oct.
My niece Anna got married over the Labor day weekend..she made such a beautiful bride :O) Steven was her ring bearer..he had a blast of course he loves to be the center of att and with him being all dressed up and cute looking with those 2 front teeth missing he got a lot of it..lol
Ok here is a rare pic of me this is one with my sister and my mom..here I was so proud of my self for fitting in this dress and thinking wow I lost a lot of my baby weight till I seen some of my other pics...think it time to go on a diet...lol this pic isn't too bad I sucked it in :O)

quotes

well phase one is done with the house. The restoration company left on Tuesday. They left me with a MESS and half a house. My living room ceiling has a 3 by 6foot part cut out, one full wall is gone and a 3 by 12 foot section of my carpet is gone..then we have my kitchen the whole ceiling is missing half of a wall, the floor and my cabinets. The upstairs half the hallway carpet is gone all the walls has a 3 ft part missing, the bathroom needs a new floor and all new walls and the cabinets..oh then we have my bedroom carpet it needs to be replaced and all the rooms that were affected will have to be painted of course ...this is going to be A LOT of work.
I have had 6 different companies come out for quotes..here is what I think..

1)first company....he did way too much writing...lol he wants to take down walls that were not affected and really didn't tell me anything, I didn't like that.

2) second company he was cute..lol he went through the house told me this and that had to be done, he would wave my deductible, would let us say what we want done and how the funds would be spent..sounds good right....a few days later I call him to see if there was a quote in writing and the whole time he talked to me it was honey this, sweetheart that, baby you name it I was called it...now if by any chance I hired this guy first off my hubby would NOT like it if he called me these names, plus I don't think he would like seeing a hot looking guy in his house all day..

3) he came out wrote all kinds of things down also, then as he was leaving he hands me a paper to sign, I asked him what it was and he told me it was a work release...that in order to get a quote I have to say I would let them do the work..Grrr ..don't think so

4) he seemed nice told me what needed to be done and had details

5) he wanted to patch my drywall not replace, wanted to do as little as possible

6) he told me everything he wanted to do how I could go with a wood floor in the living room instead where the money would go, and if we wanted to hire certain things out to someone different we could..he seemed honest and had lots of info

So #1,2,3 and 5 are out of the running.. it is a tossup between 4 and 6..but so far 6 is in the lead...lol
hey I like the ideal of wood floors in my living room :O)

frustrated

have you ever been so frustrated that you cant think straight? That you feel dammed if you do dammed if you don't? That your told you should act one way but when you try that's not what they want? But if you don't your told you don't care or your not good enough...i know I am being vague but in this situation I need to be..I just want to run and keep running till I cant go anymore..I don't know what to do anymore, I feel like so much of me is lost and I'm not sure where or how to find it anymore. How do you try and help and your not told anything and when you are told its a slam

omg can you believe two post in one day....lol

just had to share the latest pic of the baby..

I still wonder how in the world he can do this, looks like it wojld hurt but then again babies are so flexible...

how does a person know???

I HATE working with insurance and builders!!!! This is just the start I know it, the water removal guys have been here for the pass three day the first day they did nothing since they didn know what the insurance company would pay for the next day they didnt do anything again since the insurance adjuster had not showed up at our house yet so they just dropped off blower and a hepa filter machine..the blowers are HOT and we have 2 huge things blowing hot air in the house it feels like it 100 in the house and I have the air on..So today they showed up again to remove my kitchen ceiling and part of my carpeting upstairs they were here ALL day just for that. The adjuster came he was cheerful..not he kept taking pics and measurements of everything in the house even things that werent in the accident zone..he didnt give me much info just to let the guys do what they think needs to me done, so I asked him how do I know that what they do will be covered he said "you dont"...omg I am suppose to let these guys rip apart my house and not know if they are going to cover it...I dont think so! So every little thing they wanted to do I made them double check with the insurance company.
Tomorrow they want to take down my living room wall, kitchen floor and bathroom floor oh and the living room carpeting...I'm NOT looking forward to this!!!1
The kids were so amazed with everything they were doing I swear if the guys would of let them help they would have been in their glory.
The guys finished up for the day at 4:00...darn it just in time for me to make dinner..

Monday, July 28, 2008

wow thats all I can say

you just never know what could happen in this house. Just when you think you have seen it all something else happens...I didnt get upset when I seen the kids playing Tarzan hanging from the tree branch and jumping off the playhouse, I didnt get upset when one child dumped dirty turtle water out her window and her sister heard some strange noise in her downstairs bedroom so she stuck her head out the window..and got a bath in turtle water ( in fact I thought that one was funny :O) I didnt get mad when they were throwing water balloons out the upstairs window, or when one was using the shovel as a catapult with dog poo at the neighbors house( ok he did get grounded for that one and had to clean up the mess),,,but when a 4 year old comes up to you and says the water in the toilet is too high..I would say question it dont ignore him...so now for the riddle of the day?????

What do you get when you have a 4 year old little boy, a roll of tp and an upstairs toilet????

Wow look at him go

I cant believe how much Jorden is starting to do now. For the longest time he was happy to stay on his back and look at us if he was in his pack -n-play, he wouldnt even try to roll over, or he would bounch like a mad man in his MegaSaucer. But in the last 2 weeks the little stinker has learned its fun to move.. He can now roll all over the place to get what ever he wants, he gets up on his knees and rocks back and forth and lunges forward to get places , he goes from his knees to sitting and will sit there for a long time before he falls over..he is just all over the place. He now has two teeth that has just broken through, he is leaking soooooooooo badly stillfrom teeting, poor kids clothes are soaked all the time. Anything in sight he puts in his mouth, and his new thing is gram crackers he loves them..have you ever see or touched a gram cracker after a baby gummed it to death..yuck a soggy mess, and they always somehow seem to get more on their face, belly or chair then in their bellies. It still amazes me how much a baby learns that first year of life.

David gets to call us about once a week from Iraq, he sounds so good!He told us he will not re-enlist that he wants to go back to school. He wants to go into nursing :O) he is going to start taking classes when he gets back into the states. He might be redeployed back to Iraq before his time is up in the Marines he will be done Jan of 2010...ya I have count down going already :O)

My brother in-law is getting married!!!! Major shock he is what we all thought of as the confirmed bachelor he has been with the same girl for the pass 6 years be never in that time did he even hint that marriage would be in their future so when he told everyone they got engaged you can image all of our amazement and now he did one better they set the date and even got the church booked, so I guess this is really going to happen :O) I am so happy for them I am really looking forward to them having kids I have a lot of years to torture his kids after half the things he has done to mine, and after some of the gifts he has bought...oh boy I am going to have fun.....lol

What was I thinking

Dont ask me how it happened, honest is just snow balled. I said yes to Samantha having a friend spend the night her friend is also d, then her brother who plays with my 7 year old asked if he got to stay too..ok I think thats not bad its very hot out we have a pool and a camper in the back so we can go for night swims have a camp fire and sleep out in the camper...before long I have my other son putting up a tent in the back yard saying dad said that he and a friend could camp out. Then came that kid's sister who plays with my daughter and stright out asks if she can stay too..so the total is 4 extra kids including my 10 that are still living at home ( one is in the military) then I get a call from my oldest saying she invited a FEW friends over to go swimming and play cards, I ask what is a few she tells me no more then 5 or 6..now I went downstairs a bit ago and I found 3 more kids standing in my kitchen and my son eyeballing me...I just shook my head no and walked a way. I know I am a push over if I stayed in that room I would have 3 more staying..I just got done feeding the mob it took 8 pizzas and almost 7 2lts of pop I can hear splashing and yelling right now and my sweet hubby is the middle of all the kids in the pool...crazy or not I love days like these, tommorrow I 'll be a bit insane but thats ok...wish me luck if you dont hear from me I didnt make it...lol

Ok its morning and I made it :O)

here is how our night went, 10pm I got the baby to sleep, oldest came home with 3 of her friends they stayed in the house playing cards so she listened for the baby incase he woke up..we had a campfire for a little bit till my 7 year old son was likeing the fire way to much for me to be comfortable, if you know what I mean..so at 11pm we went for a swim ( I sat in chat for a short time..had to talk to some adults) Then the kids had snacks, some stayed in the house and played the computers and others played playstation, only 7 stayed in the camper with me..1 am back for a quick night swim ...I thought I would tire the kids out and they would sleep..nope didnt happen..we then played some cards, watched a movie, colored and the girls ran out to the tent some of the boys were sleeping in to try to scare them..lets just say that started the war and they all were running after each other...lol by 4 am I am dying and the kids are still going strong...but by 5 am they are dropping like flies ..saddly the few that passed out around 2am were up and ready to start the day by 7 the ones that were still sleeping got a sharpie beards...Cooked breadfast at 8am went swimming again.. its noon and only one child has gone home but that child was replaced by another kid who lives down the street...it looks like its going to rain so MAYBE we might have a few more go home and I can go back to sleep.

Wish I could post some pics of all the lovely faces, but with out thinking I gave Rach my camera to take to camp with her..which by the way I pick her up this evening, cant wait till she gets home but in a way I can since while she was gone I killed her hermit crab...hey no one said I had to feed the think while she was gone..oppps, I should I figured that out yesterday since her room had a bad smell

its been a long time

I know its been a long time since I last posted.

The baby is doing great in fact he is getting so big and trying to do so many things lately, he just learned to roll over now the little stinker can roll himself all over the place, he is TRYING to get some teeth in poor guy is drooling like crazy...he has been having some pretty rough days when it comes to his teeth...most of the time he is such a happy baby.

Samantha just came home from camp yesterday. It was so strange not having her around. I didnt have to get up for those 2 am blood sugar test but yet I didnt go to bed till 2:30 every night, just couldnt sleep with her gone. The one thing that we did do was eat diner anytime we wanted to and have way too much junk food...no plans for dinner half the time just grabbed and ran meals. I do have to say it was a nice change, but its also nice to get back to normal now. Samantha said she had a great time and that she made a lot of nice new friends and she cant wait to go back next year...yeap she already has plans for next year :O)
