Lance Corp.

David made Lance Corp last Wed I am so proud of him. He is in N.C and should be for some time yet. He is hoping to come home for Easter but as usual we never find out till the last min, one of the things I hate about the military! His girlfriend is going down to see him soon wish I could, the only base I have been on was the one at Paris Island and that wasn't anything special. I would like to see his room David said its like an apt now, meet his friends I hear so much about then and I would love to see the plane he works on, which is the Offspry. David says its cool :O)

Saturday and Sunday my fabric obession got worse as if it could...lol
Hit the sales at Walmarts and ended up buying about $50.00 worth of fabric then on Sunday I just had to run into Jo Ann's for snaps only, well those snaps ended up costing me $58.00...lol but I had fun and I will use it someday ;O)

For the sad news :O( Nancy passed away on Saturday. We knew it was coming but its still so hard Don her hubby isn't doing very well. We have known for the pass 6 months that this day would be here soon, but it just seems too soon now. This makes the 4th funeral I have been to in less then a month! I guess I haven't started this year out very well now have I. I had the miscarriage right after the second week in Jan, then my sister was told she might have cancer 2 weeks ago and all the deaths....I am hoping and praying the rest of this year is better!
